The Family Law and Victim Rights Unit at Pine Tree Legal Assistance provides statewide coverage for the civil legal needs of victim/survivors of sexual assault. In many areas of the state, the Family Law and Victim Rights Unit also provides civil legal services to victim/survivors of domestic violence.

Our Services

Family Law and Victim Rights Unit cases are referred to Pine Tree Legal through a direct referral process from sexual assault and domestic violence agencies throughout the state. Pine Tree does not intake family law or victim rights cases through our online, walk-in, or call in hours.

We handle cases in many different areas related to domestic violence and sexual assault. Types of cases we work on include:
