We have consulted with state officials who are responsible for administering Maine's child support system. We have relied on their input, as well as our own professional judgment, to decide some of the more esoteric details around the programming. Regardless of the care we have taken, we recognize that some details are always open to statutory interpretation. Please keep in mind that the Maine Supreme Judicial Court is the final interpreter of Maine laws. The decision-maker is your case is sworn to uphold their interpretations.
